about

On My Way is about leaving a life that has become so ingrained in the soul yet there remains a need for change and personal growth. Such a transformation is not possible without the support, love and understanding of those around you...your friends and those that have helped you see what really matters in life and how to be a better person.

lyrics

On My Way
I've been a selfish man with selfish dreams
grew up not knowing what it really means
to hurt the ones you love just by letting go
so easily of everything you know

when things got hard the only thing to do
was to run away, put the blame on you
I never used to take responsibility
somehow my open eyes just could never see

thirteen years later I still I don't quite know
how to really love and how to get close

but I'm learning how to do it every single day
and its because of you that I'm on my way
and when I arrive I'll look around and say
"this is all beautiful and it will be okay."

I don't cast aside my fortuned gifts
opportunity at my finger tips
and the love from everyone i know
even tho i may not always show

how much it all has meant to me
to be in this life, so loved and free
I just hope at the end I remember you
for you were the ones that made me who

I am.

and some years later I will have let go
of all the pain and blame and suffering I know

and I'm learning how to do it every single day
and it's because of you that I'm on my way
and when i arrive I'll look around and say
"this is all beautiful and it will be okay."

the winds have changed it's time to leave
this chance for love is all I need
to become the man I want to be
and to be alive in this lifeless dream

so we say goodbye, til we meet again
my heart is sad but it will mend
the time will pass and we may fade
but we can't erase the marks we made

and a few years later when I return home
I will show you all just how i have grown

And I'm learning how to do it every single day
and it's because of you that I'm on my way
and when i arrive I'll look around and say
"you were all beautiful and now I am okay."
